Nonprofit since 2025
Land Learn Fly, formerly known as the Town of Newbury After School Program, began in January 2016. Near the end of 2024 we became our own company, achieving nonprofit status on February 9, 2025. We specialize in after school enrichment for students age 5 to age 12. We are currently a three star program through Bright Futures, but are in the process of becoming a four star program.
Authentic Enrichment
Land Learn Fly Inc. collaborates with Elementary schools in Vermont to provide authentic, real-world experiences for our students and to connect them with their community. Our goal is to help them become more aware of the world around them, so that they can make more knowledgeable decisions as they grow. LLFI prides itself in not just providing excellent childcare, but in also giving our students skills and experiences that will help them become a successful, respectful, and informed member of their Vermont community.
Safe & Supportive Environment
Land, Learn, Fly Inc. strives to provide a safe, supportive environment that encourages physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth and development. All adults and children are expected to act appropriately, respectfully, and responsibly. Staff encourage students to learn, play, problem solve, both independently and cooperatively, and explore new ideas and experiences.
